OUTREACH PROGRAM
Leading Change Uganda reaches out to the children and young women of our community and surrounding areas through various activities.
These include training in financial literacy, personal development (5D Cycle of Self-Discovery), entrepreneurship, consumerism, environment and health outreach programs.
We work hard to see that the children and youth in our beautiful country Uganda are well equipped with various life skills that are necessary for children and young adults if they are to change their own communities.
In 2016, we were able to reach out to 25 women and 20 children through training in financial literacy, personal development and entrepreneurship. We aimed to empower them with skills that will lead to small enterprises and a stable, sustainable income for their families. We use the resources available in each community to create a small local economy, which we expect to lead to an overall reduction in poverty in that area.
