Leading Change Uganda is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that began in January 2013 by a group of young people in Uganda. We wanted to create the change we wanted to see in the world, in particular, for the children and young women in our local community. Leading Change Uganda is motivated by the idea that the world should be a better place for everyone regardless of sex, age, religion, colour and nationality.

Leading Change Uganda strives to empower children, young women and youth to effectively participate in social economic development through training, access to education, information and basic needs.

In a community where many of our members are living on less than US$1 a day, we hope to improve their standard of living in a sustainable, long-term way.

OBJECTIVES:

To contribute towards poverty alleviation in Kampala, Uganda.
To promote access to education and basic needs while imparting life and entrepreneurial skills.
To promote sustainable development while strengthening and empowering our communities.
